Located on Mt. Godai, just 15 minutes by car from central Kochi, this temple is the 31st stop on the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage.

This lesser-known spot is right in the administrative district, near the prefectural office and courthouse. A quiet area where locals enjoy seasonal colors.



Part of the “Niyodo Blue” river system, Nakatsu Valley offers dramatic scenery year-round. In autumn, the valley is covered in bright colors. Nearby hot spring inns make it ideal for a relaxing trip.
