    1. At the baggage claim, the exit is right in front of you.

    2. Find the exit leading outside.

    3. Go straight and turn left, then you will find the bus stops.

The bus ticket counter and bus stop are located outside the airport. To reach them, exit through the doors in front of the arrival exit, turn left, and walk a short distance(almost  a hundred meters). You’ll see a spot similar to the one in the picture.

This is where you can purchase your bus tickets. The ticket is only sold by the vending machine.

Using the ticket machine is straightforward. Simply insert cash and press the button to select your ticket. select number of the ticket you want to buy any select ticket.

The bus typically arrives about 10 minutes before its scheduled departure time. Look for a bus stop in front of ticket machine.(You can check  the time schedule from the links above)

After the bus arrives and the driver steps out, each passenger takes a turn to inform the driver of their destination. If you have luggage to store, remember to inform the driver.

Board the bus and take any available seat, as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The bus ride to the city center takes about 30 minutes. If you need to get off at a stop before the final destination, which is Kochi Station, listen for announcements about upcoming stops. Press the buzzer to let the driver know you want to get off at the next stop.

    Finding a Taxi:

Upon arrival, head to the taxi stand. The location can be found on a map.

As you exit through the doors in front of you, you’ll see several taxis parked nearby. It’s important to note that most taxi drivers in Kochi may not speak English. Therefore, it might be better to show your destination on Google Maps or another navigation app.

    • Most Japanese taxis have automatic doors controlled by the driver, so there’s no need to open or close the door yourself.
    • It’s helpful to have smaller denominations of cash for payment, as drivers may not always have change for large bills.
